Certified Pre-Owned Cars on Display at the 2010 Greater Milwaukee Auto Show

Thanks to Google, I stumbled across an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that reports certified pre-owned cars are on display at the 2010 Greater Milwaukee Auto Show that runs through Feb. 28. It makes sense when one considers that used car sales are an immense profit center for new car dealers. So, why not show your moneymakers?

That got me thinking, though. The reason to go to car shows is to see new cars. Who is going to be excited to see a certified pre-owned 2007 Honda Accord?

It's a slippery slope for an auto show to take this route. Instead of becoming a comfortable place to look at new cars without a lot of pressure, the car show could turn into an extension of the dealer showroom.

Let me know what you think by commenting below. Does exhibiting certified pre-owned cars take some of the luster off a car show for you? Or, am I all wet?
