That used Corvette sitting in your driveway, especially if it is of vintage mode, say more than 25 years old, could be a tempting target to car thieves.
That's the message of the latest report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau, which released its report on stolen Corvettes this morning. (Sometimes you can read breaking news on this blog.)
Anyway, the report finds that 1984 was the most popular year (and there's a good explanation why) and California is the place of most stolen used Corvettes (not too hard to figure out why). My article on most stolen used Corvettes will answer those questions and more.
Now, I'd like you to answer a question for me. Ever had a Corvette stolen? If so, share the circumstances, including the model year. Just curious if your stolen Corvette is among the most popular model years.
