Two great vehicles are undergoing recalls for airbag problems: the Honda Pilot and the Honda Odyssey.
I've long liked both the Odyssey and the Pilot for their blue-collar sensibilities. There is nothing flashy about these two vehicles. They simply get the job done. But, I do have to admit to being concerned about the Pilot and Odyssey airbag recall. That's fairly troubling.
Normally, I say there's no problem buying a used car that has been subject to a recall but an airbag recall is a different issue. Don't buy a used Honda Odyssey or Honda Pilot that has not had the work done. Make the seller complete the recall before signing over your had-earned cash.
This is the kind of thing that could instantly become a safety hazard so it doesn't make sense to pay full price for a used vehicle with this potential problem.
