A Look at Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned Warranty Program

Before buying a certified pre-owned vehicle, check out this explanation of the certified pre-owned program offered by Cadillac. This explains the warranty program for the manufacturer; how old the certified pre-owned vehicles are, and other benefits you can expect from the manufacturer's certified pre-owned program.

The vehicle must be a Cadillac with no more than 48 months or 50,000 miles from the original in-service date.

• A Cadillac certified pre-owned vehicle comes with a 6 yrs/100,000 mile warranty from new vehicle delivery date.
• The limited warranty on Cadillac's certified pre-owned vehicles covers most of the vehicle's major mechanical components, including the engine, transmission, axles, struts, heating and air conditioning system and door and sunroof assemblies.
• Cadillac and its dealers will provide every buyer of a Cadillac certified pre-owned vehicle with a 172-point vehicle inspection and reconditioning certificate that includes a road-test, validation of key mechanical components, up-to-date maintenance services and interior and exterior detailing.
• Items inspected that do not meet GM specifications must be replaced: windshields, brakes, tires, wiper inserts, belts and hoses
• Dealer will change oil and filter, check all fluid levels, repair interior, exterior components that don't meet specifications
• Must have a clean vehicle history report
• Vehicles with bent frame, buybacks, flood/fire damage or odometer issues are ineligible.

• 6 year/100,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty from original in-service date
• Courtesy transportation for warranty services
• Free vehicle history report (CARFAX is the preferred provider for GM Certified and Pre-owned programs)
• Cadillac owner privileges: trip interruption protection, no-charge emergency road service and 24-Hour customer assistance hotline
• "3 Months Directions and Connections" - 3-month trial of OnStar and XM radio
