Before buying a certified pre-owned vehicle, check out this explanation of the certified pre-owned program offered by Lincoln. This explains the warranty program for the manufacturer; how old the certified pre-owned vehicles are, and other benefits you can expect from the manufacturer’s certified pre-owned program.

Each Lincoln certified pre-owned vehicle is up to six years old or has up to 80,000 miles and has passed a 169-point inspection.

  • Lincoln certified pre-owneds come with comprehensive six-year/100,000 mile limited warranty coverage.
  • Each vehicle has a standard deductible of $100. Strikes me as a little high.

OK, I thought Lexus’ $50 a day rental coverage was chintzy. Lincoln’s is worse. It’s only $35 a day if you break down more than 100 miles from home. As with a Lexus, it's tough to find a Lincoln equivalent for $35 a day.

Check out all the fine print at Lincoln's certified pre-owned website.
