Many unscrupulous used car sellers are called curbstoners. Curbstoners are dealers who pose as private sellers by selling cars "curbside" so it doesn't look like a business. Share your advice with others if you have been in this situation or you are a reformed curbstoner who used to pose as a private seller to avoid issues like warranties and disgruntled customers who wanted their money back. Sells on craigslist in Wa and Or. Multiple cars, boats, RV's. He works along with his mechanic, Scott Mcleod. BEWARE these people are crooks. They took my car and told my elderly aunt that it was OK for her to sign the title as me. Avoid buying from Anthony (650) 678-4872 sells 6+ cars per month from his home, most cars are junk he passes off as his own personal cars.

Andy Piner & Anthea Light t/a Adlington Used Motors, these two were done in Bolton for selling cars at roadside locations in the Bolton area, they then moved to Adlington and conned many private motorists and local bussiness they where forced to move again, this time they set up in Wheelton Garage as Wheelton Used Motors, It seems that the owner of Wheelton Garage did not approve of Piners way of doing things and evicted him, Piner is now back to trading from the roadside in and around Chorley, you can read about him on many web sites which give you his current where abouts and current telephone numbers.
